011 of 2020 - Confirming Council Member James Rogers’ Appointment to the Utah Inland Port Authority Board1 RESOLUTION NO. ____ OF 2020 Selection of the Salt Lake City Council Representative on the Utah Inland Port Authority Board WHEREAS, in the 2020 Utah Legislative Session, the Utah Legislature adopted HB 347, which amended the Utah Inland Port Authority Act. WHEREAS, HB 347 altered the makeup of the Utah Inland Port Authority Board and authorized the Salt Lake City Council to select a Councilmember to serve on the Board. WHEREAS, Councilman James Rogers represents District 1, where much of the Inland sentative. WHEREAS, pursuant to HB 347, the City Council desires to select Councilman Rogers to continue to serve on the Utah Inland Port Authority Board. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, the following: 1.The City Council representative on the Utah Inland Port Authority Board. 2.This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon passage.
