the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, which reads as
follows- after the words- The Land and Water Commissioner shall have
such deputies, a such cort,'pensation as the City Council may from
time to time allow.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah,
ARTICLE 1 That Section 355 of Chapter XXVI of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, be and the same is hereby repealed and .1
re-enacted so as to read as follows.
SECTION 355 The Land and Water Comissioner shall have powerij

of Nine Hundred Dollars per annum, whose duty it shall be to keep
the canyon and creek free of all rubbish and d ebris, and whose duty
it shall be in live at the station in Parley's Canyon from the
first day of March until the fi ret d Ay of December of each year.

herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
ARTICLES This ordinance shall tare effect upon approval.
