AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 635 and 636, Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to plumbing
inspection.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Sections 635 and 636, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to plumbing inspection,
be and the same ere hereby amended to read as follows:
SEC. 635. BIAMBERS. It shall be unlawful for any
persbar to lay any service pipe connected or to be connected
with the waterworks system or to do any kind of plumbing work
as provided in Sec. 1298
unless he is licensed/and gives bond as provided in Section
�.� 1785 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920,
as amended, provided that the license provided for in this
# .xl. Section shall not permit the licensee to conduct the business
of a merchant without the payment of a merchantls license.
SEC. 636. AMOUNT. BOND. The yearly license fee for
plumbers shall be $150.00 for said year, or any part thereof,
and the license may be issued,upon payment of said sum and upon
giving the bond in the sum of $10,000.00, conditioned and subject
to the provisions as named in Section 1785, devised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended. Said bond shall also
contain a further condition for the faithful observance of a.11
ordinances, rules and regulations of this city relating to
plumbing.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
,lof Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
