AN ORDINANCE VACATING alley in Lot 10, Blk. 44, Ten
Acre Plat A, Big Field Survey, Salt Lake City, Utah;
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That alley in Lot 10, Blk. 44, '' en Acre
Plat A, Big Field Survey, Salt Lake City, Utah, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
Commencing 363.0 ft. west from the N. E. Corner of
Lot 10, Blk. 44, Ten Acre Plat A, Big Field Survey, running
thence West 33.0 ft., thence South 16.4 rods, thence East
33 ft., thence North 16.4 rods to place of beginning;
be and. the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer a public
alley or street. Said vacation is made expressly subject to the
rights of way and easements of the Utah Light and Traction Company
and the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company acquired ` 1
under franchises from Salt Lake City, to maintain, repair, alter
and/or replace the electric transmission, distribution of telegraph
and telephone circuits, lines, wires and poles of said companies,
together with the necessary stop, cross-arms and other attachments
thereon or affixed thereto for the support of said electric tele-
phone and telegraph lines, wires and distribution circuits as now
erected and maintained upon the alley or street to be closed, during
or
the life of the franchises held by said companies=/ any extensions
thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance .shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This-ordi ce shall take effect upon its
first publication, 47
