sPBe it ordained by the Board of orn,issioners of Salt Lake
• City, Utah:
SECTION I. That a certain tract of land intervening between
Blocks 45 and 46, 10 Acre Flat "!z", Big Field Survey, halt Lake County,
Cfrt Utah, shown on the records in the County Recorder's office as a
'N street, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the a. L. Corner of Block 45, 10 Acre
Plat "Al', Big Field Survey; running thence N. 0° 14, 48" "—
E. 500.00 ft., thence N. 89° 51' 08" E. 66.00 ft., thence
S. 0° 141 48" tiV. 500.00 ft., thence S. 89° 51' 08" V.
66.00 ft. to place of beginning;
be and the same is hereby vacated and declared no longer public
property as a street as shown on the records in the office of the
County xacorder. 1

Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights of
way and easements of the Utah Light & Traction Company and the Mountain
States 'Telephone & Telegraph Company acquired under franchises from
halt Lake City, to maintain, repair, alter and/or replace the elec-
tric transmission, distribution of telegraph and telephone circuits,
lines, wires and poles of said companies, together with the necessary
stop cross-arms and other attachments thereon or affixed thereto for
the support of said electric telephone and telegraph lines, wires and
distribution circuits as nor erected and maintained upon said tract
of land to be vacated, during the life of the franchises held by said
companies or any extension thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the hoard of Commissioners, it
is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of

Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. 'his ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
