AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEYS between 18th and 19th
East Streets and Harvard and Princeton Avenues, in Block 3,
Colonial Heights Subdivision of Blk. 28, 5-Acre Plat 'C', Big
V� rield Survey,in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That alleys between 18th and 19th East Streets
and Harvard Avenues, in Block 3, Colonial Heights Subdivision of
Blk. 28, 5-Acre Plat 'C', Big r'ield Survey, in Salt Lake City,
Utah, more particularly described as follows:
beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Blk. 3,
Colonial Heights Sub. of Elk. 28, 5-Acre Plat tCt, Big
field Survey, thence west 595 ft., thence S. 45° V. 7.07
ft., thence south 114 ft., thence west 12 ft., thence north
250 ft., thence east 12 ft., thence south 114 ft., thence
S. 45° E. 7.07 ft., thence east 595 ft., thence south 12
ft. to the place of beginning;
be and the same are hereby vacated and declared no longer to be
public property for use as streets, avenues, alleys or pedestrian
ways.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all exist4g
rights of way and easements of ail public utilities of any and
every description now located in, on, under or over the confines
of the above described property, and also subject to the right of
entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, repair-
ing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said utilities
and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately.
