AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sec. 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955,. relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries
of Use Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries of Use
Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and to said
section a new paragraph to be known as Item 43, as follows:
"ITEM 43. The following described real property in Residential
"R-5" and Residential "R-6" classifications, between 6th and 8th South
Streets between 10th East and University Street and 8th and 9th South
Streets between 10th and 12th East Streets, as shown on the Use District
Map, is hereby changed to Residential "R-2"; also all of that property
now classified Residential "R-6", between 6th and 9th South Streets and
7th and 10th East Streets, is hereby changed to Residential "R-5"
classification and the Use District Map is hereby amended and changed
accordingly:
"R-6" and "R-5" classifications to Residential "R-2"
Beginning at the center of the intersection of Sixth South
Street and Tenth East Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, thence east
2768 feet more or less to the west boundary of the Mount Olivet
Cemetery, thence south 792 feet more or less to the center of 7th
South Street, thence east 4.0 feet more or less to the west boundary
of the Mount Olivet Cemetery, thence south 792.0 feet more or less
to the center of 8th South Street, thence west 1170.55 feet more
or less to the center of 12th East Street, thence south 792.0 feet
more or less to the center of 9th South Street, thence west 663.45
feet more or less to a point 80 feet east of the northeast corner
of the intersection of 9th South and llth East Streets, thence
north 166.0 feet, thence west 113.0 feet more or less to the center
of 11th East Street, thence north 25.0 feet, thence west 783.75
feet more or less to the center of 10th East Street, thence north
601.0 feet more or less to the center of Sth South Street, thence
west 41.25 feet more or less to the center of 10th East Street,
thence north 1584.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning,
being more particularly described as follows: all of blocks 5, 12,

the northwest corner of the intersection of 9th East and 9th South
Streets, thence south 191 feet more or less to the center of 9th
South Street, thence west 1218 feet more or less to the center of
the intersection of 7th East and 9th South Street, thence north
1438 feet to a point 80 feet south of the southeast corner of the
intersection of 7th East and 7th South Streets, thence east 146
feet, thence north'377 feet to a point 165 feet north of the north-
east corner of 7th East and 7th South Streets, thence west 146
feet to the center of 7th East Street, thence north 561 feet more
or less to the point of beginning excepting therefrom the area
extending 165 feet west and 330 feet north from the northwest
corner of the intersection of 9th East and 7th South Streets, being
more particularly described as follows: the north 535 feet of block

"That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show
the above described tracts of land as Residential "R-2" and Residential
"R-5" District Classifications."
