AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 27-6-2 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to public parks.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 27-6-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to public parks, be, and the
same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 27-6-2. Exemption. Provided, however,
that section 27-6-1 shall not apply to a per-
son or persons who are in the park in conformity
with a function or activity for which a permit
has previously been authorized pursuant to the
provisions of section 27-5-9 of these Revised
Ordinances."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare
of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become
effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this Znd day of January, 1973.
