That Section 385 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt • -„ Lake City of 1903, an amended by an ordinance passed by the City Coun- oil February 18, 1907, and approved by the Mayor February 19, 1907, in relation to peddlers and hawkers, be, and the same is hereby emended and re-enacted so as to read as follows; SECTION 385. PRD •LRRS ZS) HAWKERS. It shall be unlewfnl for any person to carry on the business of peddling or hawking, or to offer for sale, barter or exohenge at retail, any garden or farm produce, fruits, butter, eggs, meat, poultry, fish, game, medicine, or other goods, wares, or merchandise, in, upon or along any street of Salt Lake City without first obtaining a license so to do; provided, that nothing herein, or in Section 386 of the Revised Ordinances of 1903, as amended by an ordinanc passed by the City Council March 23, 190B, and approved by the Mayor March 24, 1908, shall apply to persons offering for sale, I barter or exchange at retail, any articles aforesaid,i,when the same are raised or produced by themselves; said persons not bein required to procure a license. Provided further, it shall be aniowful,under any cirou_mstrnces, for any person to peddle or hawk any goods, wares or merchandise, in, upon or along any of the following streets, to-wit: South Temple Street from Second East Street to First West Street; Ar.ot Sonth Street from Second East Street to First ',lent Stroet; Second South Street from Sec- • and Enot ;;treat to First West Street; Third South. Street from Second East Street to First West Street; Sta.t, treet from Earth Temple Street to Fourth South street; F Street from North 'Temple Street to Fourth South Street; West Temple Stir.,', • Pros Firs% North Street to Fourth South Street; and provided further, that -;no license shall be erarcted to peddle or hawk in, upon or slong;such streets. SECTION 2. All ordinances and resolutions, or harts of ordinan- oee and resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3.
