AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1235, Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by an ordinance passed
by the Board of Commissioners o± salt .cake City, Utah, on July
3rd, 1924, relating to the law department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That Section 1235, Revised Ordinances of
:fait Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by Wn ordinance passed
by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, on July
3rd, 1924, relating to the law department, be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1235. COLPENBATION. The compensation
of the officers In the law department shall be such as
may be fixed by the Board of Commissioners, not to exceed
the amounts stated as follows: City Attorney, 0,200.00
per annum; one assistant city attorney, 3,600.00 per annum;
one assistant city attorney, 43,000.00 per annum; one as-
sistant city attorney, ;;2,400.00 per annum. Such compensa-
tion shall be paid monthly.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
of Salt Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and safe-
ty of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become
effective ittthediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
