AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1013, Chapter XVI, Revised
Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 21, 1923, relating to
clerks and deputies in the office of the City Recorder
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah.
SECTION I Chat Section 1013, Chapter XVI, Revised Ordi—
nances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, as amended by an ordinance
passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 21, 1923, relating to
clerks and deputies in the office of the City Recorder, be and the
same is hereby amended by changing the seventh paragraph of said
' ()Section to read as follows.
Four deputy city recorders, rho shall act as deputy
clerks of the city court at a salary not to exceed $168Q0Oeach
per annum
SECTION 2 In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the
inhabitants of said city that this ordinance take effect immediately
