Burton Fehr � 7 • Finch- - - - - - - - Lake Mr.Chairman AN ORDINANCE Result AN ORDINANCE ABENDING SECTION 1796, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920,-relating to advertising by floats on the streets. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION I. That Section 1796, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1920, relating to advertising by floats +bn the streets, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: sec. 1796."It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of advertising or to advertise his avoca- 10 tion or business by the use of floats, printed signs, posters or advertisements of any kind, attached to any Vehicle of any description, or any animal, or any person, within the district or upon the streets mentioned in Section 1792; provided, however, this section shall not be construed to prohibit advertising painted, or printed matter pasted or glued, upon such vehicle when such vehicle is being used in the regular business of its owner. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the health, peace and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
