Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 19-2-6 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the hours of consumption of liquor on premises licensed therefor, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows: "Section 19-2-6. It shall be illegal to possess or consume liquor on premises licensed hereunder between the hours of one o'clock A.M. and seven O'clock A.M. of any day. It shall be illegal for any licensee, or operator or employee of a licensee hereunder to permit any customer, guest or any other person to possess or consume 'liquor' on the licensed premises between the hours of one o'clock A.M. and seven o'clock A.M. of any day. As an exception to the foregoing requirements, liquor consumption may be permitted until three o'clock A.M. of New Year's Day when New Year's Day falls on Monday."
