AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sec. 25-9-3 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to hospitalization and sick
leave.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Sec. 25-9-3 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to hospitalization and sick leave
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 25-9-3. Accumulation of sick leave allowed.
Authorized sick leave may be accumulated by any officer or
employee from year to year provided that no officer or
employee shall be entitled to accumulate more than sixty
days sick leave. No accumulation of hospitalization leave
shall be allowed."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace,health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
