AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 19-3-1 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the closing hours for the mixing,
serving and consumption of intoxicating liquor in or on premises of non-
profit corporations bonded and regulated pursuant to the provisions of
Title.l6, Chapter 6, Utah Code Annotated, 1953.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 19-3-1 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the closing hours for the mixing,
serving and consumption of intoxicating liquor in or on premises of non-
profit corporations bonded and regulated pursuant to the provisions of
Title 16, Chapter 6, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, be, and the same hereby is,
amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 19-3-1. It shall be unlawful within the corporate
limits of Salt Lake City for any non-profit corporation bonded,
regulated and being operated pursuant to the authority of the
provisions of Title 16, Chapter 6, Utah Code Annotated, 1953,
or for any agent or employees thereof to serve or mix liquor
on said corporate premises or knowingly to permit members,
guests or any other person to consume liquor on said corporate
premises, or for any person to consume liquor on said corporate
premises between the: hours of 1:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M. of any
day; provided, however, that when New Year's Day falls on
Monday, liquor may be mixed, served and consumed on said premises
until 3:00 A.M. on said day as an exception to the foregoing
requirement."
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 30th day of November, 1961.
