AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing the boundaries of
Use Districts.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1 . That Section 51-11-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to zoning and fixing boundaries of the Use
;Districts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding in and to said section
a
a new paragraph to be known as Item 18, as follows:
"ITEM 18. The following described real property in Business "B-3"
classification, as shown on the Use District Map, is hereby changed to
Commercial "c-1" classification and the Use District Map is hereby
amended and changed accordingly:
Commencing at a point said point being in the north line of North
Temple Street and 330 feet west of the northwest corner of 4th
West Street and North Temple Street; thence north 165 feet; thence
west 2049.32 feet to the west line of 7th West Street; thence
north 165 feet; thence west 660 feet to the east line of 8th West
Street; thence south 165 feet; thence west 2492 feet more or less
to the east bank of the Jordan River; thence southerly along the
the east bank of the Jordan River to the north line of North
Temple Street; thence east along the north line of North Temple
Street 5201 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
Also commencing at a point said point being in the south line of
North Temple Street and 330 feet west of the southwest corner of
4th West Street and North Temple Street; thence south 165 feet;
thence west 5085.02 feet to the east line of ilth West Street;
thence north 165 feet to the south line of North Temple Street;
thence east along the south line of North Temple Street 5085.02
feet to the point of beginning.
That said Use District Map is hereby changed and altered to show the
above described tract of land as part of Commercial "C-1" District Classifi-
cation.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners, it is
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
