AN ORDINANCE Result . . . . 1 y AN ORDINANCE VACATING portions of Vine Street and Center Street on First North and Main Streets. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That those portions of Vine Street west from its intersection with Center Street, more particularly described as follows, be, and the same hereby are, vacated and declared nb longer to be public property for use as a street, alley, avenue or pedestrian way: Commencing at a point S. 89° 51' 27" W. 68 feet and N. 69° 49' 54" W. 49.456 feet from the S.E. corner of Lot 1, Block 4, Plat E, Salt Lake City Sury; thence northwesterly along the arc of a 194.822 foot/curveves to the right, from a tangent bear- ing N. 75° 52' 43" W., a distance of 41.10 feet; thence S. 69° 49' 54" E. 41.024 feet to the point of beginning. Also: Commencing N. 23° 51' 41" W. 20.35 feet from the S.W. corner of Lot 3, Block 4, Plat E, Salt Lake City Survey; thence N. 47° 48' 20" W. 75.657 feet; thence N. 66° 07' 49' E. 11.61 feet; thence S. 58° 52' 32" E. 33.28 feet; thence S. 23° 51' 41" E. 41.89 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That that portion of Center Street located at the inter- section of First North Street, Main Street and Center Street, more particularly described as follows, be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, alley, zvtnnrz or pedestrian way: Commencing at the S.E. corner of Lot 1, Block 5, Plat E, Salt Lake City Survey; thence N. 23° 51' 24" W. 138.84 feet; thence S. 82° 11' 33" E. 11.50 feet; thence S. 65° 15' 06" E. 69.08 feet; thence S. 0° 02' 13" E. 96.5 feet; thence S. 89° 59' 06" W. 18.86 feet to the point of beginning. Said street vacations are made expressly subject to all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every des- cription now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above 104 -2- described property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them. SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
