AN ORDINANCE VACATING a portion of llth East Street, south of
Ashton Avenue.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That that portion of llth East Street, south of
Ashton,Avenue, more particularly described as follows, be, and the
same is hereby declared no longer to be public property to be used
as a street, alley, avenue or pedestrian way:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 9, Block 1,
Granite Subdivision Plat "A", a subdivision of part of
Block 46, 10 Acre Plat "A", Big Field Survey and
running thence south 105.0 feet; thence west 66.0 feet;
thence north 105.0 feet; thence east 66.0 feet to the
point of beginning. Containing 0.16 acres.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights
of way and easements of all public utilities of any and every des-
cription now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above
described propertyp and also subject to the rights of entry thereon,
for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining, replacing, removing,
altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt
Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt take City, Utah
this 3rd day of December, 1969.
