AN ORDINANCE VACATING an alley running southwesterly between Sunnyside Avenue and 9th South Street, west of Diestel Road. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the alley located in Lots 1, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 and 59, in the Douglas Park Subdivision fronting on Sunnyside Avenue, 9th South and Diestel Road, more particularly described as follows, be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, alley or pedestrian way: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 53, Block 4, Douglas Park Subdivision, a subdivision of part of Block ,/ 29, 5 Acre Plat "C", and also a part of Section 9, T1S, R1E, Salt Lake Base and Meridian and running thence north 22.57 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 1, .Block 4, said Douglas Park Subdivision; thence northeasterly 151.22 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence east 17.84 feet to a point on the northerly line of Lot 59, Block 4, said Douglas Park Subdivision; thence southwesterly 179.97 feet to the point of beginning. Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of way and easements of all public utilities located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property; and also subject to the rights of entry thereon, for the purpose of removing, altering or rerouting said utilities and all of them. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first pub- lication.
