Be it ordained by the City Council of Sell; Lae City, Uteh:
S1CTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assesnnent of the sane upon the eroeorty hereinafter
described in Sewer District ilc. 2, for the construction of sewers,
to-wit:
In Lots 1, end 49 to 5e, inclusive, Bloc; 4: 1, end 49 to 58, inl-

This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructird vitri-
fied pipe sewers ten (18) and twelve (12) inches in dia;.ceter upon the
portions of said streets opposite the property hcr,ci;before and here-
inafter described to be esecci.7.iy affected be efitcd by said im-

said property will be especially vrcuitet thereby to the full amount
of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby aosesse
at an equal and uniform rote in accordance with the linear foot front
aue upon said portions of said streets frontiee upon and to a depth
of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and. the tax hereby levied
and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is seven thousand four
hundred eleven and 38/100 ( 7,411.38) dollars, or 9991105/10,000,000
(5$0.9991105) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property fel
sewer in center of streets, there being 7417.98 feet of abutting prop-
erty within the boundaries of the lots, blocks and streets above men-
tioned in said district, which is the total cost and cost per front
foot of said sewer, according to the contract entered into 9or the
performance of said work and leaking said isproven.t with James Ken-
nedy Construction Compeny, dated the 7th dey of February, 1910, and
the Treesuror is hereby authorized and directed to assess in accord-
ance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose herein
mentioned:

provement; one-fifth thereof in two years after such approvals one-
fifth thereof in three years after such approval; one-fifth thereof
in four years after such approval; and one-fifth thereof in five year
after such approval. One or more of said instr=llments, in the order
in which they are payable, or the whole special tax may be paid at an
time within thirty days after the approval of the ordinance confirmin
the levy of the tax, without interest. In the event of any install-
meet or the interest aforesaid not .being paid on the date the same
becomes due, the whole amount of the special tax unpaid at the time
said installment and interest .are dud, shall become due and payable,
• and shall draw interest at the"rate of eight per oent per annum until
the sale of the property-assessed; provided, one or more installments,
in the order i.n which they are payable, or the whole special tax un-
paid may be paid on. the day any installment becomes due, by paying
the amount thereof and interest to said date.
