106 of 1902 - Ordinance 106 of 1902 – Sewer Extension No. 106. ORDINANCE .
An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
en H Street, from a point midway between South Temple and Fiat
Streets to Second Street, in Sewer District No. 1, for the con-
struction of a sewer.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessment upon the property abutting on H Street
from a point midway between South Temple and First Streets to
Seeped Street, in Sewer District No. 1.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
wary upon said portion of said street opposite the property here-
inafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said
improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established
that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full
amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby
assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear

foot frontage upon sad portion of said street fronting upon and to
a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby
levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is six hundred
and ninety-three ($693.00) dollars, or 70/100 ($0.70) dollars per
front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and
empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordi-
nance for the purpose herein mentioned, lot 3, block 5; lot 4,
block 7; lots 1 and 4, block 22, and lots 2 and 3, block 23, plat
"D", Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official
plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from
said street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
