Be it ordained by floe City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 628 of the Revised. Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, ZX Z.W.Z, be, and the sm`.e hereby is aeeaded and re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
SECTIONT 623. Where property owners construct sidewalks at
their own expense in compliance with floe provisions' 'of this
ordinance and the aparoval of the Board of Public Works, the
cost of indicating grades and lines and inspection shall be
paid for by the property owner before the issuing of the per:uit
required. by Section 626.
The charges for inspection of sidewalks shall Toe as
follows:
For the first 25 linear feet, 10 cents per foot;
For the second 25 linear feet, 7 cents per foot;
For the third 25 linear feet, 5 cents per foot; •
For additional linear feet, 3 cents per foot:
Other engineering fees and charges for indicating grades
and lines shall be the same as are provided in Section 157 of
the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City. No rebate or repay-
ment shall be ms.de to any person of any fees or charges col-
lected hereunder.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shalt take effect upon approval.
