Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That that portion of the alley between Bryan Avenue and Logan Avenue and between 14th East Street and 15th East Street, more particularly described as follows, be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer to be public property for use as a street, avenue, alley or pedestrian way: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 2, Emerson Heights Addition, a subdivision of part of Block 11, 5 Acre Plat "C", Big Field Survey, and Block 11 F. M. Lyman Jr's Survey of Section 16, T.1 S., R.1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian and running thence North 12.0 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 48, said block and subdivision; thence west 425.0 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 32, said block and subdivision; thence northwesterly 35.35 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 31, said block and subdivision; thence south 62.0 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 19, said block and subdivision; thence northeasterly 35.35 feet to the north- west corner of Lot 18, said block and subdivision; thence east 425.0 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 0.131 Acres. Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of ways and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property, and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of maintaining, altering, repairing, replacing, removing or rerouting said utilities and all of them. SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
