AN ORDINANCE A NDING Section 20-3-5 of the Revised
Ordinances of Salt La e City, Utah, 1965, relating to delin-
quent date and penalty of license fees.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. Th t Section 20-3-5 of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake Ci y, Utah, 1965, relating to delinquent
date and penalty of li ense fees, be, and the same hereby is,
amended to read as fol ows:
"Sec. 20-3-5I. Delinquent date and penalty. All
license fees ijnposed by this chapter shall be due
and payable on or before January 1, of any calendar
year and in the event any fee is not paid on or
' before such date, a penalty shall be assessed pur-
suant to the provisions of 20-1-13 of this title,
which penalty 'hall become part of the license fee
imposed by this chapter."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
it is necessary to the' peace, health and welfare of the inhabi-
tants of Salt Lake Cit that this ordinance become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah, this 3rd ay of December, 1969.
