Greener ) �h• Hogensen Phillips Result ,✓ /AN OR NANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Sec. 24-2-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to municipal precincts, by correcting the descriptions of Precinct No. 1, Precinct No. 2 and Precinct No. 4 thereof. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Sec. 24-2-2 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to municipal precincts, be, and the same hereby is, amended by correcting the descriptions of Precinct No. 1, Precinct No. 2 and Precinct No. 4 thereof, to read as follows: Sec. 24-2--2. Municipal precincts. Division and number. The territory embraced within the corporate limits of Salt Lake City shall be and the same is hereby divided into seven precincts, bounded and described as herein set forth: PRECINCT NO. 1: All of that portion of the city lying west of Main Street and "I" Street extended north to the boundary line of Salt Lake City at the '^avis County line north and west of the following described line: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of "I" Street extended and the Davis County line and running thence south along the center line of said "I" Street to the intersection of the north bank of City Creek Canyon; thence southwesterly along said north bank to the intersection of the center line of "A" Street extended at approximately 850 North Street; thence along "A" Street to the center line of Girard Avenue; thence southwesterly along the center line of City Creek Canyon to the center line of Canyon Road; thence southerly along the center line of Canyon Road to the center line of 300 North Street extended; thence west along the center line of said 300 North Street to the center line of Main Street; thence south along the center line of Main Street to the center line of 400 South Street; thence west along the center line of 400 South Street to the center line of I-15; thence southerly along the center line of I-15 to the center line of 600 South Street; thence west along the center line of 600 South Street to the center line of the Jordan River; thence northerly along the center line of the Jordan River to the center line of South Temple Street extended; thence west along the center line of South Temple Street extended to the west boundary line of the City. PRECINCT NO. 2: All of that portion of the city lying east of the center lines of Main Street and "I" Street extended north to the boundary line of Salt Lake City at the Davis County line, north and east of the following described line: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of "I" Street extended and the Davis County line and running thence south along the center line of said "I" Street extended to the north bank of City Creek Canyon; thence southwesterly along said bank to the intersection of the center line of "A" Street extended at 108 -2- approximately 850 North, thence along "A" Street extending to the center line of Girard Avenue; thence southwesterly along the center line of City Creek Canyon to the center line of Canyon Road; thence southerly along the center line of Canyon Road to the center line of 300 North Street extended; thence west along the center line of said 300 North Street to the center line of Main'Street; thence south along the center line of Main Street to the center line of South Temple Street; L - thence east along the center line of South Temple Street to the center line of 600 East Street; thence south along the center line of 600 East Street to the center line of 100 South Street; thence east along the center line of 100 South Street to the center line of 900 East Street; thence south along the center line of 900 East Street to the center line of 200 South Street; thence east along the center line of 200 South Street to the center line of University Street; thence south along the center line of University Street to the center line of 500 South Street; thence east along the center line of 500 South Street to the center line of Hempstead Road; thence northeast along the center line of Hempstead Road extended 6,480 feet; thence northwesterly 3,000 feet; thence southwesterly 500 feet to the boundary line between Sections 33 and 34, T.1 N., R.1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian; thence northwesterly to the inter- section with the quarter line of said Section 33, (to coincide with the boundaries of voting districts 2358 and 2166) ; thence north to the north 40 acre line of said Section 33; thence east along said 40 acre line to the east 40 acre line of Section 34, T.1 N., R.1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian; thence north along said east 40 acre line to the north line of said Section 34; thence east along said Section line to the east boundary of the City.
