AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAX. and for the assessment of proper-
ty on Coatsville Avenue from 4th to 5th East Streets, in Sewer
District No. 2, (Sewer Extension. No. 593), for the per^iose of con-
structing a sewer.

City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the board. of Commissioners of Salt bale
City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the
sane upon the property hereinafter Pei.,ri.eed i;: Sewer District No.
L, (Sewer Extension No. :593), for the purpose of constructing a sewer,
to-wit:
In Lot 14 of Blohk 4, five acre Plat a, pi.;; i.eld Survey,
abutting on both sides of Co tsville averme from hth to 5th East
Streets.
This tax is levied to defray the expense of c(instructing
a vitrified pipe sewer eight (8) inches in diameter upon the portions
of said street opposite the property hereinbefore and hereinafter
described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement,
and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that said
property will be especially benefited `hereby to t.e lull amount of
the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed
at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot

depth of fifty (50) feet back thereom, and the tax hereby

is hereby authorized and directed to assess, in accordance with

tioned;

SECTION II., Said, tax shall bee one and be delinquent in
five equal yearly installments, with interest on the whole sum
!unpaid at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable at the

!year after the ordinance confirming the levy of the tax for the
jpayment for such improvement becomes effective; one-fifth there-j

terest. In the event of any installmxit or the interest14
aforesaid not being paid on the day the same becomes due, the
Whole amount of the special tax unpaid at the time said install
ment and interest are due, shall bee cue due and payable, and
shall draw interest at the rate of eight per cent per annum
i until the sale of the property assessed; provided, one or more
I installments, in the order in which they are payable, or the
whole special tax tinpaid, may be paid on the day any installmen
becomes due, by paying the amount thereof and interest to said
date.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect one
day after its first publication.
