An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 222 of Chapter 18
of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah.
SECTION 1. That section 222 of Chapter 18 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City be, and the same hereby is amended and re-enacted to
read as follows:
SECTION 222. FIRE DEPARTMENT. ORGANIZATION. The Fire Department of
Salt Lake City shall consist of the following officers and firemen:
One Chief of Department
One Assistant Chief of Department
"even Captains
Three Lieutenants
Three Engineers
One City Electrician
One Secretary and Operator
Thirty One Firemen
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith,
are hereby repealed to the extent of suoh conflict.
,.A SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
