3e it ordained by the 3oard of Commissioners of atilt Lake
City, Utah:
SECTION I. That .section 986 of Chapter 14 of the ievised
Ordinances of Salt =bake City, Utah, 1920, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
JECTIOO 2. Chat :section 990 of Chapter 14 of the Levised
Ordinances of Salt Lake ',:itj, Utah, 1920, be end the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SEC. 990. 9 CS. The poundkeeper, for impounding and
posting up notices, shall collect and retain fees for his ser-
vices as follows: One dollar per head for horses, mules or
cattle, and twenty-five cents per head for calves, goats, sheep,
and swime; for feeding animals, fifty cents per day for horses,
mules and cattle, and twenty-five cents per day for calves,
goats, sheep and swine. ,pees for advertising and sale shall
be one dollar each for horses, mules and cattle, and fifty
cents each for goats, sheep, calves and swine.
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall become effective im-
mediately.

upon its publication.
