AN ORDINANCE VACATING alleys in Douglas Heights Plat
'Bt in Blk. 13, Five-Acre Plat C, Big Field Survey and F. M.
Lyman Jr.ts Survey of Sec. 16, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., Salt T..ke Base
and Me-',dian.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, Utah:
SECTION I. That all alleys in Douglas Heights Plat 'Bt
in Blk. 13, Five Acre Plat C, Big Field Survey and F. M. Lyman
Jr.'s Survey of Sec. 16, T. 1 S., R. 1 E., Salt Lake Base and
Meridian, be and the same are hereby vacated and declared no
longer public property as an alley or way.
Said vacation is made expressly subject to the rights
i of way and easements of the Utah Light and Traction Company and
the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company acquired under
franchises from Salt Lake City, to maintain, repair, alter and/or
`r•I replace the electric transmission, distribution of telegraph and
telephone circuits, lines, wires and poles of said companies, to-
gether with the necessary stop, cross-arms and other attachments
thereon or affixed thereto for the support of said electric,
telephone and telegraph lines, wires and distribution circuits as
now erected and maintained upon the alleys or ways to be closed,
during the life of the franchises held by said companies, or any
extension thereof.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Saltlike City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
