AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3510 of Chapter XXXV of
the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating
to the Law Department.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lale
City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 3510 of Chapter XXXV of the Re-
vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1944, relating to the
Law Department, be and the same is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:
"SEC. 3510. CHIEF CLERK. The board of commissioners
shall employ a suitable person as chief clerk of the law
department at a salary not exceeding $2100.00 per annum,
payable semi-monthly."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners,
it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants
of Salt Lake City that this ordinance shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall tak- - 'fect at once
1 upon its first publication.
