AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-1-8 of the Revised Ordinances of
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to transfer of beer license.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah.
SECTION 1. That Section 19-1-8 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 19144, relating to the transfer of beer license be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 19-1-8. Transfer of license, refund and forfeiture of
fee. On application any license which has not been revoked as
herein provided may be transferred as follows:
Application shall be made therefor to the Board of Commissioners
as herein provided and filed with the License Assessor and
Collector together with a fee of Twenty five Dollars, ($25.00),
If the application is granted the said Twenty five Dollars shall
be deposited in the City treasury, otherwise it shall be returned
to applicant. No license fee shall be refunded after a license
has been issued ,and upon revocation of a license as herein pro-
vided the license fee paid for such licensa shall be forfeited,
to the city. "
SECTION 2. In the opinion'So ' the Board of Commissioners, it is '
necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
15th day of February, 1956.
