AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 25-8-1, of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, relating to the compensation to be paid
various appointed officers of the city in the various departments
amending subdivision (f) of Item 2 to provide for an additional Deputy
City Treasurer and fixing the compensation to be paid.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That subdivision (f) of Item 2, of Section 25-8-1
of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1955, be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(f) City Treasurer's Office
1. City Treasurer $7 500 00
2. Deputy City Treasurdr . . . . 6,000.00
3. Deputy City Treasurer . . . . 5,400.00,11
SECTION 2. The foregoing compensation shall be effective
as of March 1, 1958. A
SECTION 3. In the opinion of the Board of. Commissioners, it is
'r`" necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants of Salt Lake

City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah,
this 4th day of March, 1958.
