AN O R D I D A N C E .
An ordinance forbidding property owners to permit the growth
of weeds on their lands.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake Cit_ ,
Utah;
SEC'TIOTI 1. It shall be unlawful for the owner, tenant or
occupant of any,land or lot of groundwithin the limits of Salt
Lake City, * for the:Agent or re;resentatiye of the owner, tenant
, or occupant of 'much property, to allow or permit needs to urow:on
any such lot' or:ldnd to, 4 height of over oxae foot; and the al1;owin:
I'I of weeds to grow to a height of over one root:on lands within the
limits of this di'Ly i =' ereby dec4ared tq be a nuisance.
SECTIOIA2. Any person, firth or corporation violating any of
the provisions of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction thereof,
be punished by a fine of not more than w50.00.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect ten days after
its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt ke City,
Utah, August 15th, 1912.
