Be it ordained by the Board of Commissionersof Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 095 of Chapter 35, Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to terms of office of elective officers, be, and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 895. ELECTIVE OFFICERS. TERMS. The Mayor, Commission- ers and auditor shall be qualified voters within the city, and shall be chosen by the qualified voters of said city. In the year 1919, and quadrennially thereafter, there shall be elected a mayor and two commissioners for a term of four years. In the year 1921 and quadrennially thereafter, there shall be elected two commissioners and an auditor for a term of four years. Ali elective municipal officers shall continue in office for their respective terms unless sooner removed, as provided by law, and until their successors shall be elected and qualified. SECTION 2. That Section 909 of Chapter 35, Revised Ordinances ill of Salt Lake City, 1913, relating to salaries of elective officers, be and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 909. SALARIES, ELECTIVE OFFICERS. The mayor shall receive a salary of forty-two hundred dollars per annum, payable monthly. Each member of the Board of Commissioners and the 112 • auditor shall receive a salary of thirty-six hundred dollaraper annum, payable monthly. Said compensation shall not be increased or diminished during the term for which such officers are elected. SECTION. 3. In the judgment of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary that this ordinance shall become effective January. 7, 1910, in order to comply with Chapter 44, Laws of Utah, 1917. SECTION 4.
