AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 20-1-14 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to license certificates.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 20-1-14 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake
City, Utah, 1965, relating to license certificates, be, and the same hereby
is, amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 20-1-14. License certificate. Issuance. All certificates
of license shall be signed by the mayor, attested by the sity recorder
under the seal of the city and shall contain the following information:
(1) The name of the person to whom such certificate has been issued.
(2) The amount paid to the city treasurer.
(3) The kind of license and the class of such license, if such
licenses are divided into classes.
(4) The term of-the license with commencing date, and the date of
its expiration.
No certificate of license shall be delivered or mailed to the licensee
until the issuance of such license shall have been approved by the Board
of Commissioners of Salt Lake City."
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City
it is necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of said city
that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 12th
day of October, 1972.
