112 of 1980 - Vacating an alley running East and West betwen 900 South and Hayes Avenue, and 1100 West and Glendal SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE No. 112 of 1980 (Vacation of Alley) AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 6, GLENDALE ADDITION, WHICH 14-FOOT ALLEY RUNS EAST AND WEST BETWEEN GLENDALE STREET AND 1100 WEST, JUST SOUTH OF 900 SOUTH STREET. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That the 14-foot alley running east from Glendale Street to 1100 West Street, south of 900 South Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, more particularly described below, be, and the same hereby is vacated and declared no longer to be needed or available for use as a public street, avenue, alley, or pedestrian way. Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 9, Block 6, Glendale Addition, a subdivision of Lot 3, Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; thence running North 14 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 10 of said subdivision; thence running West 300 feet, more or less, along the south line of Lots 10-18 , to the Southwest corner of Lot 18 of said subdivision; thence South 14 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of Lot 2 of said subdivision; thence running east along the North line of Lots 2-9 in said subdivision, 300 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Said vacation is expressly made SUBJECT TO ALL EXISTING RIGHTS OF WAYS AND EASEMENTS OF ALL PUBLIC UTILITIES OF ANY AND EVERY DESCRIPTION NOW LOCATED ON, IN, UNDER OR OVER THE CONFINES OF THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY, IF ANY; AND ALSO SUBJECT TO THE RIGHTS OF ENTRY THEREON FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING, ALTERING, REPAIRING, REPLACING, REMOVING OR REROUTING SAID UTILITIES AND ALL OF THEM. Said vacation is also expressly made SUBJECT TO ALL EXISTING RIGHTS OF WAYS AND EASEMENTS OF ANY THIRD PARTIES AS MAY BE ESTABLISHED BY LAW. SECTION 2.
