An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property
on the east side of West Temple Street bot,eon Fourth Soeth and
Market Streets, in Sidewalk District No. 7, for the construction of
a sidewalk.

Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Cite Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessmentupon the property hereinafter described
abutting on the east Side of Meat Temple Street between Fourth South
and Market Streets, in Sidewalk Dist--iet No. 7.
This tax is 'levied to defray the expense of construction a side-
talk upon seiri.d poftion of said street opposite the property heroin-
after described to be especially affected and benefited by said im-
provement, and it is hereby adjudred, determined and established
that the sahe will be especially benefited thereby to the full
amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcelsof land are hereby
assessed et an equal and uniform rate in accordance with tie linear
foot frontare upon said portionof seed street frontioe upon and to
a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, end the tax hereby
levied and to be assessed upon said porcelsof land is five hundred
and teent- -two and 72/100 ($522.72) dollars, or one and 7d/100
($1.7e) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is here-
by authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the pro-
visions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, all of
lot 2, and the south 132 feet of lot 3, block 51, plat "A", Salt
Lake City Survey, as the same ar . shown upon the orficial plats of '
said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from s -.i.d street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance sha11 take effect upon approved.
