AN ORDINANCE VACATING an alley which runs north from Stringham
Avenue, west of 13th East Street, all abutting property owners having
petitioned for the vacation.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the following described property located between
Stringham Avenue west of 13th East Street, IJnion,Heights Subdivision, Salt
Lake City, Utah, be, and the same hereby is, vacated and declared no longer

o-o to be public property for use as a street, avenue or pedestrian way:
O Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 60, Block 5, Union
Heights Subdivision, a part of the Northeast quarter of
Section 20, Township 1 South, Range 1 East, Salt Lake Base
✓ and Meridian; thence north 130.0 feet; thence northwesterly
a to a point which is 20.0 feet east of the northwest corner
hO of said Lot 60; thence east 21 .0 feet; thence south 136.5
feet to the southwest corner of Lot 59 of said Block 5, thence
o west 16.0 feet to the point of beginning.

Said vacation is made expressly subject to all existing rights of

w°o way and easements of all public utilities of any and every description now
• az located in, on, under or over the confines of the above described property;
and also subject to the rights of entry thereon for the purpose of inspecting,
maintaining, repairing, replacing, removing, altering or rerouting said
utilitles and all of them.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of Salt
Lake City, it is necessary to the peace, health and safety of the inhabitants

of Salt Lake City, Utah, that this ordinance shall become effective immedi-
ately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
