AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Wage and Salary Administration Program for
Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated May 3, 1974, as adopted by Bill
No. 108 of 1974, amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, lUtah, 1965, by changing the pay classifications of the Civil
Service poOitions of Dispatcher (by assignment) from Pay Class 10 to Pay
Class 12, end Senior Dispatcher (by assignment) from Pay Class 12 to Pay
Class 14, under the title covering "Clerical and Technical" employees in the
Police Deportment.
Be itlIordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah;
Section 1. That the "Wage and Salary Administration Program for
Salt Lake City Employees" dated May 3, 1974, as adopted by Bill No. 108 of
1974, amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,
Utah, 1965y be, and the same hereby is, amended as follows:
(a) $y changing the pay classification of the Civil Service position
of "Dispatcher", Police Department (by assignment) under the title covering
"Clerical and Technical" employees from Pay Class 10 to Pay Class 12.
(b) $y changing the pay classification of the Civil Service position
of "Senior Dispatcher", Police Department (by assignment), under the title
covering "Clerical and Technical" employees from Pay Class 12 to Pay Class
14.
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is
necessary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake
City that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTIOON 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publica-
tion.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah this
17th day of September , 1974.
