Paving District No. 29 (Curb & Gutter Extension No. 38), for the
purpose of providing for the grading, curbing and guttering thereof,
constructing waterways to carry water along; rxd across streets
and intersections, constructing storm sewers and private driveways.
BE IT ORDAIN..1.) by the .board of Commissioners of Salt
Late City, Utah:
SECTION I. That the Hoard of Commissioners of Salt Lake
City does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of
the same upon the prop erty hereinafter described in Paving District
No. 29, (Curb & Gutter Extension ho. 3£3) , for the purpose of
providing for the grading, curbing and guttering thereof, con-
structing waterways to carry water alone and across streets and
intersections, constructing 3to-in sewers :gnu >rivate drivevaa-,ys,
to wit:
• In Lots 2? to 38 inel. of blocks 1 and 2, Kimball's
Sub. of Block 14, Plat C; Lots 1 & 41 to 45 incl. of Nil:. 1,
lots 45 & 1 to 5 incl. of 31k. 2, Doull 3•ros. Sub. of Block 15,
Lots 1 & 40 to 56 incl. of Wick's Sub. of Block 22 and Lots 1 to
26 incl. of Block 1, Pitt's Sub. of Block 23, Plat C, Salt
Take City Survey, abutting on both sides of Seventh West, Fifth
to Seventh South Streets, Salt Lake City, Utah.

This tax is levied to defray the expense of grading,
curbing and guttering thereof, constructing waterways to carry
water along and across streets and. intersections, constructing
storm sewers and private driveways (said grading to be 92 feet
':between curbs with park 44 feet wide in the center of said
street) the portions of said street opposite the property herein'-
'before and hereinafter descrioed to be especially affected and
benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, deter-
mined and established that said property will be especially
, benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied,
and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and
;uniform rate in accordance viith the linear foot frontage upon
said portions of said street, fronting u,,on andto a depth of
,fifty (50) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and
;to be assessed upon said parcels of land is Fifteen Thousand
Three Hundred Ninety-two and 50/100 ( 15,392.50) dollars;
iFifteen Thousand Three Hundred Twelve and 50/100 015,312.50)
'dollars or Six and 25/100 06.25) dollars per front or linear
foot of abutting property for ninety-two foot roadway with forty-
'four foot park, there being 2450 feet os abutting property within
the boundaries of the lots, blocks and street above mentioned
in said district, and Eighty ( 00.00) dollars for private drive
ways, or Forty ( i40.00) dollars for each private driveway, there
being two private driveways, which is the total cost and cost
'per front foot of said improvement, according to the contract

Idue, shall become due and payable , ;:nd shall draw interest at the
irate of eight per cent per annum until the sale of the ixoperty '
j;assessed; provided, one or more installments, in the order in
!which they are payable, or the whole spec ial tax unpaid, may be
p:.i.d on the day any ins t ilmont becomes due, cy y%u;inu the amount
thereof and interest to said date.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect one
day after its first publication.
