AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Wage and Salary Administration Program
for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated May 3, 1974, as adopted
by Bill No. 108 of 1974, amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by changing the pay classifications of
the Civil Service positions of Dispatcher, Senior Dispatcher.and Chief
Dispatcher in the Fire Department under the title covering "Clerical and
Technical" employees.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Wage and Salary Administration Program for
Salt Lake City Corporation Employees" dated May 3, 1974, as adopted by
Bill No. 108 of 1974, amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances
of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, be, and the same hereby is, amended by
changing the following pay classifications of the Civil Service positions
in the Fire Department under the title covering "Clerical and Technical"
positions:
Dispatcher from Pay Class 10 to Pay Class 12
Senior Dispatcher from Pay Class 12 to Pay class 14
Chief Dispatcher from Pay Class 14 to Pay Class 16
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners it is neces-
sary to the peace, health and welfare of the inhabitants of Salt Lake City
that this ordinance become effective immediately.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first publi-
cation.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah, this
17th day fo September, 1974.
