An ordinance repealing and re—enacting Section 32 of Chapter
VII of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1, That Section 32 of Chapter VII of the Revised Ordi-
nances of Salt Lake City be, and the same hereby is repealed and re
enacted so as to read as follows:
SECTION 32. The Chairman of the Board of Public Works
shall have power, subject to the approval of the Council, to
appoint for a term of two years a suitable person as clerk of
said Board. Said Tlerk shall be the custodian of the records
of said Board, and perform such other duties as may be required
of him by said BOard.
The compensation of said Clerk shall be Twelve Hundred
( 1200.00) Dollars per annum, and shall be paid monthly as are
the salaries of other city officials.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
