Newman Scheid NijA 0 Wells Mr.Chairman Result AN ORDINANCE An ordinance amending Section 669 of Chapter 17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to oath and bond of City Treasurer. Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 669 of Chapter 17 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1913, relating to oath and bond of City Treasurer, be, and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: SECTION 669. OATH. BOND. The City Treasurer, before he enters upon the duties of his office, shall take and subscribe the constitutional oath of office and shall execute a bond with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the Board of Commissioners, payable to the city in the sum of150,000.00. Said bond shall be conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of his office, the observance of all laws pertaining to his office, and for payment of all moneys received by him as city treasurer, according to law and the ordinances of said city. SECTION 2. In the judgment of the Board of Commissioners it is necessary that this ordinance shall become effective upon its 1'ir3t publication. 116 _ . SECTIUN 3.
