12 of 1903 - Ordinance 12 of 1903 – Amending Section 16 of ordinance relating to sale of intoxicating liquors, AN 0 R D I N A p C . An ordinance amending Section is of an ordinance in relation to the sale of intoxicating liquors; prohibiting the sale thereof on Sundays and to minors and other persons; prescribing certain restric tions and regulation in relation to the licensing of the sale of intoxicating liquors; providing for the revocation of licenses in certain cases and repealing all. inconsistent ordinances. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: SECTION 1. That Section 16 of an ordinance in relation to the sale of intoxicating liquors; prohibiting the sale thereof on Sundays and to minors and other persons; prescribing certain restrio tions and regulations in relation to the licensing of the sale of intozioating liquors; providing for tee revocation of licenses in certain cases and repealing all inconsistent ordinances, passed by the City Council December 15th, 1902, and approved by the Mayor December 17th, 1902, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 16. Female persons prohibited from being in sa- loons or wine rooms between the hours of seven P. M. and seven A. M. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation keeping any saloon, to have or keep, in connection with or as a part of his place of business, any wine room or other place either with or without curtain or curtains,or screens of any kind into which any female person shall be allowed to enter from the outside or from such saloon, and there be supplied .. with any kind of liquor whatsoever; and it shall likewise be unlawful for any firm or corporation, or person, be he owner, agent, bar-tender or employee, to permit or allow any female person to be or remain in a saloon at any time between the hours of seven o'clock in the afternoon and seven o'clock in the forenoon.
