AN ORDINANCE AMENDING the "Wage and Salary Administration Pro-
gram for Salt Lake City Corporation Employees," adopted by Bill. No.
59 of 1978, amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt
Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to position titles and classifications
and salary ranges.
Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lake City,
Utah:
SECTION 1. That the "Wage and Salary Administration Program for
Salt Lake City Corporation Employees," adopted by Bill No. 59 of 1978,
amending Section 25-4-5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City,
Utah, 1965, relating to position titles and classifications and salary
ranges, be, and the same hereby is, amended to establish a base annual
salary for police lieutenants under Level 5 of the Executive Salary
Schedule contained in said Program as follows:
Lieutenant - Police Base Annual Salary: $20,952
SECTION 2. In the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of
Salt Lake City, Utah, it is necessary that this ordinance be retro-
active in effect to July 1, 1978.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its first
publication.
Passed by the Board of Commissioners of S ake City, Utah,
this 1st day of August , 1978.
