Granting a Right-of-Way to the Utah Light and Railway
Company over certain streets in Salt Lake City:
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Salt Lake City:
SECTION I. That the right-of-way to construct, maintain,
and operate a single or double track railroad is hereby granted to
the Utah Light and Railway Company on Second West Street,"commencing
at its present terminus on that. Street at the "warm Springs'"; thence
northwesterly along said Second West Street (known also aS.. "County
Road".) and in the center thereof as near as practicable, to Ninth
;Nc 'th t treet:
'' SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon date of its approval and shall exist for forty-nine (49f
years from July 1st, 1906.
'Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City,Utah,Aug.st 27th,1906,
and referred to the Mayor for his approval.
