An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property o
both sides of Twelfth Bast Street between ;south Temple and Second
South Streets, in Paving District No. 27, for the purpose of providin.

Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
S$UTION 1. Thet the City Council does hereby levy the tax and
provide for the assessment of the sane upon the property hereinafter
described in Paving District No. 27, for the purpose of providing for
liithe grading, gutterin; and curbing, and paving of a portion of cull
district, to-wit;
In Lots 1 and 8, Block 35; 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block :4; 1 and 8,
Block 30; 1, Block 1, and 1 and 26, Block 2, Ehrich's Subdivision,
Block 30; 2 to 12, inclusive, Bast Side Subdivision, 'dock 31; and 5,
Block 31, all in Plot "F", abutting on both sides of Twelfth East
Street between South Temple and Second South Streets.
Thin tax is levied to defray the expense of grading, _;lttering
and curbing with cement, and paving with asphalt two rond'en.ys (said
apshalt pavement on each of said roadways fo be twenty-four (24) feet
wide and nine and 1/2 (9-1/2) inches thick, with a forty-four (44)
toot park between! , on the portion of said street opposite the prop-
erty heroinbefore and hereinafter described to be especially affected
and. benefited. by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, deter-
mined and established that said property will be especially benefited
thereby to the full mount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels
of land are hereby assessed at en equal and uniform rate in accordance
with the linear foot frontage upon said portions of s id street front-

there being being 2541 feet of abutting property within the bouddaries of
the lots, blocks and street above eleationed in enid dietriet, which
is the total cost and cost eer front foot of said pevement according
to the contract entered into for the ,Jerformence of said work nod
making said ieprovement, with 2. J. Moran, dated the 3rd day of May,
1909, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess
in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose

The east side of Lots 1 and 8, Block 35; the west side of Lots
2 and 5, the north 148.5 feet of the vvoot silo of Lot 4, and the south
148.5 feet of the oast side of Lot 3, Block 34; the east side of Lot
1, and the south 49.5 feet of 'Cie east oida of Lot 8, Kook 30; the
east side of Lot 1, Block 1, and the east side of Lots 1 and 26, Bloc
2, Ehrich's Subdivision Bloch 30; the west side of Tots 2 to 12, in-
clusive, East Side Subdivision, Block 31; and the went side of the
north 82.5 feet of the south 165 feet of Lot 5, Block 31, all in Plat
Salt Lnke City Survey, as no same are ::]1,j':111 upon the of
