An ordinance levyin" a tax and for the assessent of pc operty
on the north side of First North Street from East Temple Street to
a point one hundred (100) feet east of State Street, in Sidewalk

District No. 2'7, for the construction of a sidewalk.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1.` That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and •
provide for the, assessment upon the property hereinafter described
abutting on the north side of First North Street from East Temr.le
• Street to a point one hundred (100) feet east of State Street, in
Sidewalk District No 27:
This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a
sidewalk upon said portion of said street. opposite the property
hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by
said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and estab-
lished that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the
full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are
hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the
linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street frontin,^; upon
• and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax ,
hereby levied end to be assessed upon said parcels of land is one
thousand and five and 62/100 ($1005.62) dollars, or one and 321100
( 1.32) dollars per front or linear foot, and the Treasurer is here
by authorized and em_,owered to assess in accordance with the pro-
visions of this ordinance for the purpose herein mentioned, the west ;
77.99 feet of lot 1; and the east 22.01 feet and the west 11.13
I feet of lot 2, and all of let 3, block 1; all of lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and'.
and 5, block 2, plat "E", Salt I Yee City Survey, as the r.re
shown upon tr.e official plats of said City to a depth of I ,enty-five :
(25) feet back from said street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
