5ECTIO1i 1. That 5ections 1328, 1630, 1636, 1357, 1659, 1360, 1371,
1376, 1377, 1378, 979, and 1396 or Chorter 61 of the devised OrdinnnceS
of Salt lake City, Utah, 1316, be and the same hereby are emended and
re--enacted so as to read as follows:
SEC. 1328. Appointments, Salaries. Thn :Mara of Coi;aliissiohers

superintendent of watnr,;,orks, who shall receive a salary to lie fixed by
the BoeTd. of Colmissinners, or not to exceed $2,400.00 per annum; a

receive a celery to be fixed by the Board of Co=issioners, of not more
than 1.,500.00 ncr annum. Said salaries to be poi.d. in monthly installments
