ordinance passed by the City Council June 7, 1909, and approved by
the Mayor June 10, 1909, relating to slaughter houses, meat and meat

Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

SLCTICiT 48. The Mayor, by and with the advice and. consent
of the City Co.,roil, sppoint one Chief Veterinary Inspector
at a salary of 1500.00 per annum, to be paid monthly z.., are th

Inspector shall give bond in the sum of 5,000.00, conditioned
for the faithful performance of his duties and the dun observa-
• • tion of all ordinances of Salt Lake City regulating moat inspec
tion. He shall be a graduate of a recognized veterinary celleg

and shall make or cause to be made both ante-mortem and post-
